The Media and Society

       Our society is really influenced by the media. Children, teens, adults and even older one's. It may cause anybody's character to be better or worse. Is there any way or solution to prevent being influenced by the media? Specially the young one's who are really in to it always.

       I've been watching television since I was a child, and I have witnessed different scenes and happenings that the media have shown. Children without the guidance of their guardian might follow what they have seen on the media. And it will affect their lives by doing what is not right. But I, always think before doing anything. Because time cannot be repeated again and what have done cannot also be repeated. The media always introduce new words and languages and we should analyze it carefully before using so that we could understand the meaning of it. The media really affects my life, the way i speak and behave. It also reflects my personality and behavior towards the society. Sometimes, I can't hardly resist on showing what I learned from the media due to other factors that other people caused. That's why I should have self-control.

       So, we have to control ourselves to prevent on showing what the media has taught us. We can also minimize on entertaining ourselves through the media to avoid learning things that would make our character worse.

#6 A Good Place To Be With

      Iligan City is one of the place that I would recommend to tourist to be with. Not only because of the hospitable people around the city that you will encounter. But also because of the coolest and paradise-like places you may visit. Iligan City is truly a land of beauty and bounty. It is also the land of waterfalls because it has many bodies of water like ocean, springs, swimming pools and specially waterfalls where the city is really known for. That waterfalls was the Maria Cristina Falls. The top tourist-spot in Iligan City. But Maria Cristina is not the only great tourist-spot in Iligan City. The swimming pools and resorts in Timoga Iligan City is also one of the most relaxing place to stay and enjoy, that can be found at the south of the city.
     Timoga swimming pools is a good example that I would like to suggest to tourist to be with for relaxing and enjoying. It has complete commodities for the tourist when they take a swim or bath like showers and swimming pools. I assure the happiness and enjoyment of the tourist because of the numerous swimming pools that the will encounter on exploring the place.
     Being with your family or love-one will be a good way on enjoying your stay there. Because experiencing just a minute with them is priceless specially when they are very happy with you. The tourists could swim together on the pools with their love ones and eat together beside the pool, because of many cottages or tables that can be found there.
     Night swimming would be the most exiting part upon going there because of the beautiful and fantastic lights that will be turned on at night. Watching the lights would be a good hobby also. Even i enjoy watching it specially when you look to it from up above.
     Staying there is not very expensive, even thou you bring with you many people like your family or friends. Because you can just buy or ready foods before going there, so that you will only pay the entrance fee that is fifty pesos only and the table that you'll occupy with the people with you. There are also stores inside if ever you forgot something, you can just buy there. Even thou there are many people there specially on non-working days, it's just fine because you can also enjoy with them and just like the saying the more the merrier.
     I hope tourist will try going to Iligan city and visit at least one of the swimming pools there so that they would able to experience the unexpected. And it can only be found here only, on the south of Iligan city. I would like to recommend Timoga as one of the top and good place to be with in Iligan city. Because as what  I experienced there was such relaxing that you would really want to go back there every time you get depressed. For you to be happy and relax, try and stay in Timoga Iligan city.

#7 My Favorite Movie Scene

     All of us who would like to watch movies or doing movie marathon, have favorite movie scenes. That scene might be shocking, exiting or amazing. Some people want action movie scene like me. My favorite movie series is Naruto Shippuden, a Japanese anime that i always watch every time it updates.

     My favorite scene on that movie was the fight scene between Tobi and Konan. Tobi the leader of the group akatsuki, a rebelious group of powerful ninja that aims to destroy every village they'll encounter. And Konan is one of their comrades that leave them. their fight scene was very action packed animation. Although it was brutal, it didn't my eyes because it was just cartoon animation or anime. It was unbelievable because they were standing on the sea. I was really amazed at the animator of the movie because he thought of making that animation so great. The characters were very cool because they were drawn and colored very fantastic. The first attack of the two ninjas were very thrilling because you couldn't identify who will win the fight, because they are very good on fighting. I really want Konan to win because she is one of the good guys on the movie but she died and Tobi won. However, I enjoyed watching their fight scene. And it was a fantastic experience watching an action scene like this.

#5 My Reaction On The

Play Mingming

     It was my first time watching many plays by IPAG or the International Performance Arts Guide the performers behind the play. It was also my first time to watch them on the evening in the mini theater because they always perform in the mini theater morning and they perform on the gymnasium on evening during my highschool days.

    Actually I wasn't expecting that the play will be like that. I was expecting that the characters were animals because of it's tittle that symbolizes a cat. I wasn't able to understand the play at the very beginning, because the characters were talking to the audience and not to the other characters. I was also confused at Mingming, the leading character of the story. I thought she was not dead actually and I then think, that it was a flash back. At the end of the story, someone asked the names of the characters and they were R, I and P. Then, I know what those characters symbolizes. They are symbolizing death. I think the play is strictly not for children because it contains malicious acts and languages not good for children life us also, I think.

     As a whole, I wasn't able to understand the message of the play. Because I really don't understand some of the scenes there. I can't understand some of the phrases of the mother of Mingming and also her. I wasn't able to ask any questions because it may took a long time on explaining it to me. Because I may not understand their answers.

     But their performance was still great and wonderful, even thou I wasn't able to understand some in the play. Maybe because they are professional artists and they have been performing for a long time, that's why I still enjoy watching the play. Because for professional people, they really enjoy what they are doing and always practicing on the field they belong. I was really impressed on the performers. Because I can conclude directly that they are all professionals in the field of acting or performing. As we go to our stats, the actors afford to laugh even thou there is no funny thing happened. The performers also are not distracted when some of the audience are noisy talking and some are laughing at them and they still continue what they are doing. They really don't mind what the audience are doing.

    For me, the story was not that interesting but the performance by the performers were amazing. The music, props and costume were good. The facial expressions of the performers were fantastic and their voices were very loud and clear even the audience are very noisy and annoying. IPAG is really good on the field on performing arts and their performance are improving since I was in my highschool days they were better now. And all I can say is that IPAG really did well and I hope to watch more plays on them.

#4 Things I Do When I Have Free Time

     On our everyday life, we sometimes have free time. But most of the day I always have more free time. There are many ways that I could use my free time to take off the boredom that I felt. Because now a days there are many things that we can do to take off the boredom.

     When I'm in our house, I usually surf the internet if I have my free time. I really first visit the site anime season, because I always update about my favorite anime "Kuruko no Basket" a shounen and sport anime. I just let it load and if it finishes loading I then watch it. While loading it, I will visit my facebook and twitter for a while. After watching, I watch latest music covers of my favorite acoustic band the boyce avenue, surf latest music and trending videos on youtube. Then, I update my edmodo and blog while listening to the music. So that I can finish my assignments. After making my assignments online, I can now proceed on playing games on the cmputer.

     And when the surroundings in our house is very silent. I play my guitar to make the surrounding of our house more lively and not boring. Sometimes I surf latest songs in the internet and I try to learn them, so that I can play it on the guitar. My cousins sometimes sing with me while I'm playing because they too love music.

     After going to school, as I reached our house. If I have nothing to do in our house and if the sun is still glowing. I spend my time on the basketball court near our house by playing basketball. I always play with my neighbors every time I have free time specially at weekends. Because they too have free time. We enjoy playing for at least two hours. As we finished playing, the losing team will buy water to the winning team as a sign of sportsmanship and friendship. There are some people or players that go to our court to play with us and they are from different village. They go to our village because they want to play with us the sport that we both loved.

     After playing basketball usually on the weekends. I oftenly get tired after. So after playing I drink soya milk and a lot of water then after an hour I will take a nap for about two hours. And as I wake up I usually eat a lot to refill the energy I spend during playing. Before I go to sleep at that day and after doing my home works I do simple exercises or home exercises like pushups and curlups for a healthy living.

     Furthermore, I do household chores on our house every time I have nothing to do. Even thou i have many things to do when i have free time, I also have many things to do when i don't have free time. But still, I can manage my time on the things that I should do or shouldn't do at that time. Because as what people believe that time is gold. And a waste of time is just the same as wasting gold or opportunity that you may encounter on the future.

#3 My Reaction On That Sweet Unforgettable Day

     As I read the story, it was interesting because I thought that it was a horror story but it had a happy ending and the characters on the story, were happy during they felt their mother's presence. The story can be easily understood because the setting of the story was explained clearly on the first paragraphs in the story. The story didn't contain any sentences that has deep meanings and the sentences can be understood, even if you read it just once.

     I can relate to the story slight. Because I also loss a special person in my life that is in our family, and that is my only father. He leave us so early because I was 10 years old when he died, due to cardiac arrest. My sibling was 8 years old at that time. Many couldn't believe that he passed away because he was so young at that time. My father was only 42 at that time and we didn't  knew that it will happen.

     In my own experience, I have never experienced that my father let me experience his presence in a memorable place. I haven't experience such things like the story. For me, maybe the characters of the story were very depressed on their preparation on the wedding. That's why they always notice the scent of their mother. It was also due to the times that they missed their mom. And mother's are the light of the households of every family. Mother's should be the one that take cares of the family while the father will work for the needs of the family.

     Also in my experience, I also see my father in my dreams due to the times that I miss him. I think the author also see his mother in her dreams because that really happens to a person who misses his or her love one who passed away. Even some of my friends experienced dreaming about their loved one's that passed away. Maybe they are just telling us in the means of our dreams that we should remember and pray for them always.

     In life, we could sometimes experience the presence of our love one's who passed away let us experience. Maybe because they also missed us. But, we can always pray for them so that they would guard us everywhere and they will be our guardian angel.

#2 All About Myself

     My mother and father gave me the name Josef Christoffer O. Rizarri. They gave me that name because my father's name was Joselito, and he passed away when I was 10 years old. They also named me Christoffer because Christ our Lord offered me to them. I am now 17 years old because I was born on the 7th day of March 1995. As I grew up, I learned many things like learning to appreciate and thank someone for their effort on helping me or contributed something to me. And I believe that nothing is impossible if your striving hard to do what's impossible. Because with hard-work and perseverance, nothing is impossible. We should also trust ourselves whatever trials we'll encounter because God will never leave us alone, because we are His children.

     When I was on the 4th grade on the school of Iligan City Central School, I was really fun of listening to music until now. So, I learn how to play the guitar to express music. My family, specially my tito was my inspiration on learning and striving harder to play the guitar. During my elementary years I was so fat, that I couldn't run very far due to the lack of stamina. During my high school years, I studied in the Integrated Developmental School in MSU-IIT  my schoolmates encouraged me to play basketball. I practiced a lot because I don't want my schoolmates become disappointed to me. And when I reached 3rd year on my high school, I was able to join the basketball varsity team on our school. Me and my teammates participated on a lot of competition in the city and we made to be the top teams on these competitions.
     I would like to share more about my life, but it would take a long time reading because it would be a huge book. I will just look forward to the things that would make my life improve and know more about myself. And I will take care of myself, because I'm the only one who could really took care of myself. I'll also focus and finish my studies, in order to have a good and successful life as I build my own family that would be my inspiration in my everyday life.

#1 I Stop To Say Thank You Lord

      We all need to say thank you to someone or whoever makes favor to us, so that we can show our appreciation to what they have done to us. We should be thankful because they exerted effort just to help us and do our favor. Their are many living things or even non-living things we should be thankful of.

      I stop to say thank you Lord every time I go to sleep because my Lord will protect me when I'm asleep. He also guides my dreams to be pleasant, so I will be calm and relax as I fall asleep. I should be thankful to Him, for He is always there for me throughout the day. Every time I have any problems He does not leave me alone. And every time there will something bad will happen to me, He does not hesitates on helping me. That's why I should always thank Him by the means of praying. Because He always make His best just to make me safe, by protecting me always.

     There may be times that I could not thank Him due to the stress that I felt throughout the day and sleep directly, as I lay down my bed. But if I can't thank Him at night. I can still thank Him in the morning. I know that He can understand me, every time I can't thank Him sometimes. Because I'm not perfect, He is only perfect.

      We should be thankful to our Lord because without Him, we are nothing. He is our strength every time we are down and weak. So, give time on thanking Him for all the thing that He gave to you. There will be no thing that will be lost if you just thank your Lord, you may be showered with more blessings if yo thank Him. Just thank Him by the means of praying. You can just stop to say thank you Lord everyday. Because He is with us everywhere we go.
